Our Adults Karate Class are design to suit different skill sets, whether you are beginner or with experineces. The kihon (basic), kata (pattern) and kumite (sparring) are taught in a structured and safe way. In depth karate techinique will be imparted systematically as one goes through the Belt Level (kyu).
Our Academy follows the teaching of the late Soke Yoshimi Inoue, a renowned karate master and founder of Inoue-ha Shitoryu Karate. Soke Inoue has mentored multiple World Kata Champions i.e. Rika Usami, Anthonio Diaz and Mie Nakayama.
Members will get to challenge themselve through increasingly tougher classes and conquer them under the guidance of The Karate Academy Team.
The fundamental techniques i.e. the block, strikes, stances plus a wide range of movement.
Kihon serves as the building blocks of karate. Students will continue to refine and expand upon their kihon skills as they progress.
Kumite is a form of sparring and one of the main components of karate training, alongside kihon (basic techniques) and kata (formal patterns of movement). Kumite is the application of techniques practiced in kihon and kata in a controlled, competitive environment.
